I could have written something like "my Memorial Day weekend" but that wouldn't have been accurate. Nothing that I did between last Friday and today actually involved Memorial Day in either the Armed Services or Beach Holiday sense. However, people tend to ask each other what you did over so-and-so day or such-and-such weekend, so here's my answer.
